J42 Service Regulator
An angled regulator designed for low pressure domestic meter applications. Inlet pressures up to 350 mbar (5 PSIG), max inlet pressure for PRS3 = 75mbar (1 PSIG). Sizes 1/2 x 1/2, 3/4x 3/4 & 3/4x 1” integrated meter liner. Available with UPCO.

Overview
The J42 uses well proven principles of control dynamics together with modern assembly techniques to produce a regulator which offers excellent performance in a low cost, maintenance free unit. The J42 meter service regulator is approved to IGEM/GM/PRS/3, EN88 and the Dutch Gastec Approval requirements No.11. It can be supplied with an integrated 1 meter union outlet to BS746. Temperature range -20° C to +60°C (-4° F to +140°F). Outlet pressure is nominally set at 21.7mbar (8.7WC) but can be specified between 10 - 40mbar (4 - 16WC) It has full lock-up capability and is available with or without integral under pressure cut off (UPCO). The UPCO version has an automatic reset which re-establishes supply dependent upon the system integrity. It can be mounted in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, is suitable for use with natural, liquified petroleum and manufactured gases. The J42 can also be supplied as part of a meter installation kit approved to IGEM/GM/PRS/41.
