Honeywell Honored as Winner of Two InfoSec Awards during RSA Conference 2020

Secure Media Exchange (SMX) Recognized for Most Innovative Critical Infrastructure Protection and Most Innovative ICS/SCADA Security

Honeywell is proud to announce that SMX has won two awards as part of the InfoSec Awards program from Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM), one of the industry's most influential electronic information security magazine in the following categories:

  • Most Innovative Critical Infrastructure Protection
  • Most Innovative ICS/SCADA Security

The judges are CISSP, FMDHS, CEH, certified security professionals who voted based on their independent review of the company submitted assets on the website of each submission.

“Honeywell embodies three major features the judges look for to become winners: understanding tomorrow’s threats, today, providing a cost-effective solution and innovating in unexpected ways that can help stop the next breach,” said Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine.

Honeywell’s Secure Media Exchange (SMX) is the first industrial cybersecurity solution to guard against malicious USB device attacks. SMX offers protection against current and emerging USB-Borne Threats and is equipped with advanced cloud-based threat intelligence.

Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM) is the industry's leading electronic information security magazine. For its eighth annual InfoSec Awards, the magazine assessed 3,200 companies that create and offer the most innovative security information products and services. Only 10% of these companies were named as winners of the coveted InfoSec Awards 2020.
