Honeywell Connected OEM
Connected OEM is an end-to-end solution and customizable cybersecure IIOT platform with technologies and services needed to bring geographically dispersed assets online and start driving improved OEE, services delivery, cost savings and new revenues.
From the technology to implementation services, Connected OEM is Honeywell’s industrial Internet of things platform. It is a customizable solution to get equipment online and deliver visibility of installed assets, so OEMs can harness opportunities to cut costs, improve reliability, enhance performance, and drive incremental revenue.
What Is It?
Connected OEM is an easy to order and deploy offering developed with Honeywell’s best-in-class global execution and services capabilities.
This Industry 4.0 / IIoT offering is designed for OEMs or skid manufacturers and their end users, to remotely monitor their various equipment, ranging from compressors and pumping stations to analyzer houses, skids, and more, installed globally. This is accomplished by connecting geographically dispersed assets to a cybersecure cloud-based central asset management system. It delivers user-friendly KPI dashboards, a mobile interface, push notifications for alarms and key events and simplified data management.
How Does It Work?
Connected OEM enables the collection of data from multiple assets installed at various end users and their sites. This data is stored and historized in a cybersecure cloud, which allows for complex analytics, visualizations, and rule-based alarms and notifications.
The platform is powered by full mobile support and enables OEMs to manage users and define responsibilities, such as service engineer, end user maintenance engineer etc. The definition of rights and scope of responsibility helps to organize, visualize dashboards, and set customized push notifications via the mobile app.
The solution also offers user-friendly and customizable KPI visualization dashboards that support the analysis, performance management and troubleshooting of assets.
What Problems Does It Solve?
For OEMs it’s difficult to monitor installed assets’ performance. Prolonged sub-optimal asset operation results in high operating expenses for end-users, and OEMs with performance contracts are unable to guarantee or justify assets’ operating outcomes.
We create value for the customer through:
- Service efficiency: Travel cost optimization, faster service turnaround, performance traceability, easy and upfront troubleshooting, multi-site, multi-asset, and mobile connectivity
- OEE Impact: Higher equipment availability, performance optimization, multi-site, multi-asset data, and comparison for systemic issue identification
- Customer Satisfaction: Improved service quality delivery and equipment uptime
- New Business Model: Monetize services by better aligning with end-users to generate new services revenue from installed assets.
