ProFlow dilution control actuator systems are custom engineered to perform precise valve positioning on any consistency profiling headbox, with virtually any type of valve, providing superior results for all paper grades.

Overview
ProFlow is engineered to meet the needs of both the end user and the machinery maker. For the OEM, a ProFlow actuator system can be completely tested off-line with the headbox prior to delivery, integrating easily with the customer’s QCS on-site.

What Is It?
ProFlow systems are offered in two configurations, with Models 9177 are used with rotational valves and Models 9174 are used with linear valves. The actuator consists of a high ratio gear, low voltage stepper motor and a built-in feedback device which provides precise valve position measurement for fast, accurate control. All actuators are available with either stainless steel or Zytel® housings.
All ProFlow actuator systems are supplied complete with the on-machine cabling and water-proof terminations to interconnect the actuators, making for easy off-line system testing and fast on-machine installations. Optional cable support trays are available for straight-line installations for environmental and mechanical protection of the wiring.
Each ProFlow system includes a CDWeb™ which provides the interface between the supervisory control system (QCS) and the actuators. The easy-to-use CDWeb Explorer software is used for actuator configuration, tuning, advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting.
