HON 711 – DN 25 thru 150​ is a safety shut-off valve (SSV), direct-acting or pilot-operated, according to EN 14382. It is ideal for use at transmission stations in gas networks for power plants and industrial facilities.​​​​​​​

All mechanical components of this device are without ignition sources. As such, they are not subject to ATEX 95 (94/9/EC). All electrical components used with this device fulfill the ATEX requirements.
