S3 Pro

What is it?
S3 Pro is a next-generation single-loop turbomachinery controller that upgrades Series 3 family units, and other single loop controllers, using the same footprint and mounting style. It integrates CCC’s ProOS platform, enhanced security, and a modern touchscreen interface, enabling upgrades without cabinet or field wiring modifications.
Compatible with CCC’s ProOS application suite, S3 Pro supports established antisurge, performance, and other advanced driver control strategies. It also offers enhanced lifecycle support, diagnostic visibility, and connectivity in line with IEC 62443 and ISASecure Level 2 certification.
How does it work?
S3 Pro operates dedicated compressor or driver applications in a compact, panel-mounted package. It maintains the Series 3 Plus and S3++ form factor and compatible backs, allowing reuse of existing terminations, I/O, and power without rewiring.
The integrated touchscreen displays local dashboards with setpoints, process variables, outputs, limits, trends, and loop status. Operators can acknowledge alarms, change modes, and access structured alarm views directly at the panel.
S3 Pro connects through serial ports and Ethernet for load-sharing, train coordination, and DCS/SCADA integration. Its IEC 62443/ISASecure Level 2 architecture meets current cybersecurity requirements. Advanced diagnostics such as transmitter drift detection, valve exercising, and health checks are available.
