Connexo FieldSense is Honeywell’s newest and most advanced field tool suite. The heart of the system is the FieldSense Metercat server.
Overview
Centralized Administration
- Tools Administrator(s) configure new user group, and their privileges: authorized programs, functions, meter passwords, etc. and all settings are stored in a centralized database (part of the Metercat Server), in the enterprise network Field apps on tablet/smart-phone platforms
- Touch interface – high usability
- Leverage Android framework and modern mobile platforms - e.g. location services, camera, …
- Eliminate being locked in on the Radix platform and allow an unlimited number of Android devices to be enabled.
- Field apps remotely and securely connects to Metercat Server - no need to visit the utility office
- Retrieve from server all data/configuration that has been authorized by the Administrators for the specific user
- Send to server all meter data read in the field
- After synchronization with server the Field app has only the functions and data that have been authorized
