Overview
The NXU Residential Smart Gas Meter is an ultrasonic meter with an integrated, remote gas shutoff valve and a pressure transducer. Ultrasonic technology helps the meter measure flow rates and the density of gas composition. It can also help detect the presence of dust and liquids in the measurement path. It recognizes (and reports) changes in gas composition and flow without any turning parts. The advantages of this meter’s ultrasonic technology include a compact meter size, less mechanical wear, a 20-year battery life and expected long-term accuracy and stability. Its remote pressure transducer and shutoff valve are the keys to maximum safety.
