Features & Benefits:
- High heat release up to 8.5 MBtu/h per unit of burner length (12 in.)
- Clean combustion with low CO and NOx emission levels
- Minimal process air pressure drops locally across the burner as low as 0.2 wc
- Operates in fresh air, preheated air (up to 1100 °F) or low oxygen turbine exhaust gases
- Fires on natural gas, H2 and all mixtures. Special versions for propane, butane, LPG and refinery gases are available
- 100 % stainless steel construction for long life performance
- No external combustion air required
- Plug mounted in duct wall insures low installation costs
- Burner capacity independent of back pressure variations and uniform heat distribution along burner length due to high gas pressure
Dimensions & Size Specifications
- Sizes
- Type M: 4-7.5 ft; Type L: 8-14 ft
- Type S: 1-7.5 ft (max duct width 160 in)
Pressure Specifications
- Typical Fuel Pressure
- Approximately 14.5 psi at nominal capacity (sizes up to 4 ft; higher for longer burners)
- Pressure Drop
- Local ΔP across burner as low as ~0.2 in wc
Temperature Control/Measurement
- Temperature Rating
- Downstream typically 1750 deg F (1400 deg F for low‑temp process firing)
- Upstream up to 1100 deg F (standard) or 1200 deg F with higher‑grade materials
Combustion, Mixing & Fuel Dynamics
- Oxygen Requirement
- Operates with process air oxygen levels down to ~12% when sufficiently preheated
Installation & Mounting Specifications
- Mounting Options
- Slide‑in unit with stainless steel mounting plug and dedicated support; easy installation and service
Processing & Performance Metrics
- Minimum Capacity
- Down to ~0.68 MBtu/h‑ft for most applications; ~0.50 MBtu/h‑ft for low‑temp (Tin<212 deg F) process firing
- CO/NOx Emissions
- Emissions depend on process temperature and O₂ level (consult Eclipse)
- Capacity Range
- Nominal 5.12 MBtu/h per foot; up to 8.5 MBtu/h per foot possible depending on application boundary conditions
Ignition, Flame & Supervision Specifications
- Flame Monitoring
