Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Filling Stations

Honeywell's Gas Filling Stations offer solutions including control stations for compressed natural gas (CNG), fuels and the growing biogas market. The station technology is available in two series that differ by the supply and nominated capacity.

Overview
What Is It?
Two types of gas filling stations are available:
  • Type 200 - Fuel stations with a flow rate of 125 to 1000 Nm³/h at an inlet pressure of 0.5 to 200 bar and a connection of 22 to 55 kW.
  • Type 300 - Fuel stations with a flow rate of 225 to 7500 Nm³/h at an inlet pressure of 0.5 to 70 bar and a connection of 45 to 400kW.
How Does It Work?
The CNG station structure comprises an inlet line, compressor station, dryers as well as condensate and oil separators, high pressure storage, filling control and an optional CNG- Dispenser - PLC technology card reader.
It is capable of:
  • An inlet pressure range from 100 mbar up to 200 bar
  • Compressor delivery range from 65 Nm³/h up to 7500 Nm³/h
  • Connection loads from 22 kW up to 400 kW
  • CNG dispenser performance of 0,3 up to 40 kg/min as well as 1 to 100 kg/min
  • Outlet pressures up to 350 bar.
Further requirements going beyond the above mentioned can be fulfilled if the desired single components are contained in the product range.  The stations can be built both in a concrete building as well as in a sound-protected container version, furnished with all necessary static proofs.

What Problems Does It Solve?
At regional and city gate offtakes, as well as distribution feeds into the network, the CNG Filling Stations provide reliable pressure reduction, flow control, pre-heating and measurement of gas quality and volume including all necessary data logging and communication.
