What are the pre-requisites and process for downloading software using electronic link?

The prerequisites to initiate the software download are:

  • A valid Login for process.honeywell.com
  • A valid software download link (sent by email from Honeywell software orders mailbox)

Is it mandatory that I register on Process.honeywell.com for the software download?

Yes, it is mandatory that you are a registered user of Process.honeywell.com, as only valid registered Honeywell customers will be authorised to download the software after successful registration.

If you are already a registered user and have logged in to Process.honeywell.com, click on the link provided in the email. This will take you directly to the download page. If you are not logged in, click the link to access the log-in window.

How long will it take for registration to complete and when can I start downloading the software?

Your registration request will be reviewed and validated by Honeywell support team within a single working day.

A confirmation email indicating that the registration is complete will be sent to you. The software download access is available immediately after the registration completion. If you do not receive any registration confirmation mail, contact Honeywell support within two working days by writing to:hpsweb@honeywell.com.

Note: Only valid registered Honeywell customers will be authorised to download the software after successful registration.

Which browsers are supported for software download?

Honeywell's Software Download process will allow the software to be downloaded via all browsers.

How many times can I download the product software?

The list of software provided via the EAK Link in the email sent to you can be used to download the product software up to a maximum number of 10 times. The number of downloads remaining is indicated on the software download page (REMAINING DOWNLOADS). If you see a message "The file download process has failed. Either the allowed download count limit has been reached or the total download file size is larger than the maximum allowed size. For assistance please contact HPS Web Support." then, please contact Honeywell support at  hpsweb@honeywell.com with a valid reason.

The support team will validate your account and support you to re-set your account for additional downloads.

The software download link received is not the correct one for the software products I ordered, what should I do?

Please contact your Honeywell account manager to check the software model number(s) which had been ordered. If the correct model numbers were ordered, but the download links provided were different, send an email to hpsweb@honeywell.com with your order details.

What communications throughput (internet speed) is required for secure download?

The software download function can be used with any connection throughput; however, the time required for download may vary depending on the communications throughput and the download file size.

The software I received is an iso file, how can I use this to install the software?

If the computer used to receive the electronic downloaded file is not the same computer that will be used to host that software, the downloaded iso file should be copied to the target location by transferring over local area network if possible.

An iso image may be used to:

  • Extract the installation files to a folder using 7-Zip or Winzip utility (You can see this option by right clicking on the .iso file if unzipping software is already installed on your computer. If not please get in touch with your local IT desk to get unzip utility installed.)
  • Write the iso image to a DVD

If files have been extracted to a folder, use Windows Explorer to locate the setup file, and open that file to initiate installation.

If iso image has been burned to a DVD, then insert the DVD to the target machine to initiate installation.

I am getting an error message on software download page, what should I do?

You may face a temporary outage for download, if there is an upgrade or maintenance being conducted on the servers. If you encounter any error message when attempting download, please contact the Customer Support Center or email the Honeywell Process Web Support Team at hpsweb@honeywell.com, wait and try again after sometime.

My downloaded software says zero KB, what should I do?

If you encounter zero KB download while attempting to download, please contact the Customer Support Center or email the Honeywell Process Web Support Team at hpsweb@honeywell.com, wait and try again after sometime.

Why “Download File” option is disabled?

If the Remaining Downloads count is reached to 0 then download file option gets disabled. It means the download limit for that particular software has exhausted. Please connect with HPS Web Support to enable support for additional downloads.

On click of "DOWNLOAD FILE" option, software file download is not starting. What should I do?

Please ensure that the pop-ups are allowed in your web browser for process.honeywell.com site.
