The Cocon 13 is the smallest model in the Cocon series of underground modules from Honeywell’s Gorter product line.

What Is It?
Cocon 13 offers the following features:
  • Underground: Landscape remains unaffected.
  • Vandal-proof.
  • Low noise level: Considerably lower noise levels than produced by gas pressure regulation installations on the surface.
  • Low maintenance: Site inspections and maintenance in the workshop are simple, thanks to the exchangeable connector unit. The complete connector unit can be exchanged within ten minutes.
  • Compact construction: Simple installation and removal.
  • Waterproof: Due to twin seals.
  • Optional safety relief valve.
How Does It Work?
​Technical specifications for the Cocon 13 include:
  • Medium: Gases in gas group 2 as listed in DVGW worksheet G260 L
  • Supply pressure: 0.3 - 25 bar (higher pressure classes available)
  • Minimum delivery pressure: 10 mbar
  • Minimum delivery pressure: 450 (Flow-coefficient)
  • Nominal inlet size: DN 25, DN 50
  • Nominal outlet size: DN 80, DN 100
  • Flanges in accordance with: PN 16 / PN 25 / DIN 2633 or ANSI 150 RF / ANSI 300 RF.
